Properties

The presence of insects harms the environment and hygiene of your pigeons. Certain parasites can weaken your pigeons to such extent that optimal growth, topcondition and performance can not be obtained. Furthermore vermin can cause stress, fatigue and injuries that can endanger the chances of reproduction. Pistal
® is an efficient insecticide for pigeons, based on natural pyrethrines and essential oils. Due to a very fine spray system Pistal® does not frighten your animals. It is ecologically packed with pure air propellant. It does not harm the ozon layer and does not contribute towards the greenhouse effect. Pistal® contains up to three times more active product than sprays with another gas propellant.
Application

Pistal
® is used for the treatment of flying insects and ectoparasites in dovecotes. Pistal® is a repellent and has a pleasant and fresh smell.
Administration

For the treatment of pigeons against ectoparasites, eating and sucking insects :
Vaporize Pistal® at a distance of min. 70 to 80 cm on the pigeons. Spraying time : 1 to 2 seconds. Preventive : 1 to 2 times a week Curative : 1 to 2 times a day during a week For the treatment of dovecotes against ectoparasites and mosquitos (diptera): Vaporize Pistal® on walls, doors, perches, roosts, nest boxes, hotbeds, play-cages, moulting-trays, hide-boxes, transport cages, etc… Pulverize all narrow openings carefully. Preventive : 1 to 2 times a week Curative : 1 to 2 times a day during a week Use Pistal® preventively if your pigeons have been in contact with pigeons from other pens, or if you acquire new pigeons esp. underneath the outspread wings and the abdomen. For the treatment of the environment, a spraying can of 200 ml is sufficient for a surface of +/- 150 m2. Vaporize the sensible areas on day 1 and 3 and afterwards each week for a period of 3 weeks. Do not use Pistal® in the sun or heat. Pistal® is effective during a few weeks under diffuse sunlight (indoors).
Precautions

Natural pyrethrines are insecticides. In case of overdosing immediately consult your veterinarian or physician. Pyrethrum can cause allergic reactions on animals or humans that are sensitive for it.

Avoid contact with the eyes. Pistal
® is very lightly inflammable (groupe G2). Protect cold blooded animals (fish, reptiles,…) for vaporisation. Do not use for the treatment of mites in beehives.
Conservation

5 years. Store at room temperature.
